Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND
So many blues and reds, subdued behind and bright ahead, so effectively create the dimension and the colors, emphasizing the varied contrasting color of her mottled hair and perfectly her clear, smooth skin -- almost all of it! Note what is happening to your mind -- perhaps the two bright green and yellow swipes ccreate a momentary clarity to ponder the rest. And the blue and red foreground (twice a wide as the back so the girl's body, so emphasized, and the background immediately behind her, together take up only the other half of the whole canvas. Finally I notice the slight presence scattered of the yellow orange of her hair, which become, I think, a bit brighter above her pudendum. Now, what matter if these minor details were chosen or not, such a nit-picker as I am may find pleasure and pass time innocently, by noticing and evaluating possibilities of their contribution to what I think is a marvelous whole of a work! Peace, etc, Bruce Combs
