Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the trouble makers, the round pegs in the square holes.....the ones who see things differently - they're not fond of rules..... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things..... They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do. ~ Steve Jobs

Secret Garden Angel
There is a hidden secret garden deep inside the forest
Where many beautiful fragrant flowers grow
Where birds sing their songs
The sound of happiness is here
The sun rays dazzle just for an instant
The steps of the angel touch lightly on the ground
She has a loving gaze
And soft feathered wings
At the sound of her voice
All creatures from the forest rush to her side
She sings songs with a message of love
When she is finished
With her soft breath upon their faces
She says good bye
As she flies away with the blowing wind
She sings......
Fill your hearts with love and joy.

Prison Camp
He is in the prison camp on a hill
Where terrible things occur
They will kill him but not today
He survived another day
He is physically, mentally, and psychologically weak
But nobody cares
His family and many others died
He survived
He values life immensely
He has hope
He is free

Rose
Cold, cold is my Rose
Like the ice in the frozen lake on a cold winter night
I loved my Rose
When her thorns didn't prick
To me she was a beautiful flower
As I lay here alone in the dark
I see images of my Rose
Kissing someone else's lips tonight
And I remember when it was all good and sweet
I get up, pack my things, and head outside
The cool wind blowing on my face
The moon shining from above makes this a special night
I see my Rose in the distance running down the road
Waving and calling out my name
I don't want to hear her voice anymore
I don't answer or wave
I don't shed a tear
I get into my car and drive off as fast as I can
I pause slightly on the road, to get one last glimpse of my Rose.
