About Natalie Holland
'I don't conform to any style or genre. I'm free as a bird and fly where I please. My creativity would suffer, if I only flew in one direction. Free, free, free is my motto.' ~ Natalie Holland. Being an artist is a great adventure. I love to paint and experiment in different mediums because each offers a unique quality. Self-expression is very important to me regardless of medium. One of my favorite quotes is by Wassily Kandinsky ~ 'There is no must in Art because Art is free.' All artwork is the original work of Natalie Holland. The work is for sale on Fine Art America as prints, and many other products. Copyrighted to Natalie Holland and as such, is protected by US and International Copyright Laws, and may not be copied,...

Just super, Natalie. I've been away a while; have to check and see if you've been a busy (creating more beauty! as usual!). You know, seems that I've seen lots of belittling lately of dots, dribbles, squeezes, and, I suppose, even HUGS!!! I appreciate how you have used (among some other techniques here) to enhance the depth. Nice job! And if it's not rude or out of line, I would like to ask you a couple questions right here in public. Do you find a lot of carryover from your many and fabulous, interesting, pretty, provocative, and recognizable portraits -- well mostly not paintings of particular individuals but such recognizable types or even "types," you have masterfully invented (whoops this is not mechanics but painting -- meant "created!") I mean typical people that represent, actually present quite recognizably to us, traits, foibles, fantasies, etc. My question, Natalie, if you choose to answer or write anything about it here or on email, is what if any (I'm sure there is some!) carry over in techniques when you paint something like LIFE FORCE that doesn't more or less visually represent something that somebody living can see or touch? Second, I want to know where you get the brightest sreaming red, red, red! I've been trying to hint about that for some time now! Sorry if I'm a bit giddy here now, but my family's away for a month, and I get to stay up as late as I please, etc. Peace, etc., Bruce
