Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND
So cute and sweet! Just the right angle of head, and hue of upper background surround! And the yellow functions to well for depth: darkest down our right side and VERY light swirls on bottom (oops, I mean painting's FOREGROUND, the LOWER space in the image)! This technique is a VERY effective "fronting" of the portrait, and I think you use variations of it quite successfully several times here and there. Looking again, Natalie, I find a lot of come-hither look in that lovely face. Great job on her hair and various additions -- fun to look for them! I love it all! By the way, you probably know that these coincidently are spelled as my name in Germany: "HERR COMBS!" Peace, etc., Bruce
