What makes your work so special, is how you combine simpe space and detailed space.Your sense of design is admirable. Others comment on the actual portrait, I know that your faces are always well painted. Howerver what stands out for me even more than the expressive face is the movement in your brushwork, the way your sweeping textures lead the viewer from head to shoulders to costume. Your knowledgeable use of the S curve is used throughout your work with great zest and verve. I hope that you are selling well in your own city, because you most certainly deserve gallery exposure.
